Hotel Invention

Vichyssoise. The creamy cold potato soup, and the fancy-pants name (complete with a double dose of "s" smack dab in the middle -- deeeluxe), were invented at a Ritz-Carlton way back in the yonders. Or so legend has it. (Doesn't legend *always* have it?)

Note to hotels: Invent things. Attach a name. Bask in semi-instant fame.
